Frankfurt/Main – 20. November 2023 – Peak Mining, Teil der Northern Data Group, gab heute ein Update zu seiner Geschäftstätigkeit für den Monat Oktober. Peak Mining produzierte im Oktober 2023 insgesamt 178 Bitcoin und erzielte damit einen Umsatz von EUR 5,0 Mio., rund 16 % mehr als im Vormonat. Die BTC-Einnahmen für das laufende Jahr belaufen sich damit auf insgesamt EUR 48,7 Mio. In Europa nimmt Peak Mining an einem Demand-Response-Programm (Ausgleich der Nachfrage in den Stromnetzen) teil, das im Oktober zusätzliche Einnahmen in Höhe von etwa EUR 0,1 Mio. generierte, wodurch sich die Einnahmen aus diesem Programm auf insgesamt EUR 2,6 Mio. seit Jahresbeginn erhöhten. Nach dem kürzlich erfolgten Kauf von Hardware im Wert von USD 150 Mio. ist Peak Mining dabei, seine Hardware zu aktualisieren. Daher wird es von Monat zu Monat zu Schwankungen in der Anzahl der installierten Miner kommen. Peak Mining hatte Ende Oktober 2023 eine Self-Mining-Hash-Rate von etwa 3,27 EH/s und 34.947 ASIC-Systeme im Bitcoin-Netzwerk installiert (etwa 13 % weniger als im Vormonat). Peak Mining geht davon aus, dass sich diese Zahl bis zum Ende des ersten Quartals 2024 deutlich erhöhen wird, wenn neue Hardware und Standorte in Betrieb genommen werden.
